My Question or Issue

Within the last day or two my local files have gotten completely messed up. Some songs just got greyed out for seemingly no reason while others are having wrong covers, some have no cover, etc. I hope this is a glitch that can get fixed quickly.

My Question or Issue

This just started a few minutes ago but I have put my own album art to most of my local files songs. In the photo you can see the selected song in playlist with the correct cover art but on the bottom in the now playing, it’s a completely different picture. Yesterday it was working fine even earlier today but now all of a sudden it like glitched or something.

Forgot to mention even with songs like the one under the selected song in the photo, you can see there isn't any cover art but  when its in now playing, a picture will appear.

This is so frustrating, my entire library is mismatched and just wrong. I would expect so much more from Spotify, especially when Local Files is a PREMIUM feature that we pay for, and now all of my files are just ruined. I really hope this gets fixed, it seems harder and harder to justify staying subscribed to Spotify honestly …

Hey there,

Thanks for posting in the Community.

Could you share the brand, model and operating system of the device you're experiencing issues on?

@lxcysifner Have you tried performing a clean reinstall of the app on the iPhone as described here and then reloading the local files?

@toby30 You can try the same on your device in the meantime.

Keep us posted on the results.

Cheers!
