Local files not playing on my phone

I put some local files onto a playlist using my computer. However, when I open up my  iPhone to play them, they won’t show up. I have tried everything from connecting my phone to computer, downloading the playlists, and trying to sync my devices. My computer keeps giving me the message that I need to mark the playlist for offline sync- this feature does not show up on either device. I would really like to listen to these songs, so how can I play them on my phone?

We'd suggest you create a playlist on your computer and add the songs there. Then you can try downloading this playlist on your phone, while the app is opened on your computer.
