Local files playlist does not appear

My Question or Issue

I am trying to add my local files to Spotify, but the local files playlist doesn’t show up on my account. The Spotify folder shows up in my Files app. I can add music (mp3) to the folder in Files with no problem. The local files button jn settings is turned on. How do I make the local files playlist appear for me?
