Making playlist public and adding it to profile but nobody can see the playlist.

Making playlist public and adding it to profile but nobody can see the playlist.

I have this playlist I have had public for forever and it all of a sudden stopped showing to my friends, I added it to profile and made it public. I have restarted the app and double checked, triple checked everything. Not sure what to do. I dont want to delete and make another one either.

Are you using Facebook to log into Spotify by any chance?

No I am not, I am using a google account.

In this case, we'd like to gather some additional info. Can you let us know the exact make/model and OS of the affected device along with the current Spotify version you have currently running there?

 

On another note, would you mind sending us more details about the playlist? Is it made for you? Is it a playlist made by someone else that you added to your library? Is it made by Spotify?

 

Lastly, would you mind trying to add the playlist to your profile from another device to see if you notice any difference?

The playlist may have been flagged for artificial streaming and this is why it isn't visible for anyone else except you. 

 

You can always create a new playlist by copying the contents from the old one though and then make it public.

Just wanted to know what exactly is artifical streaming, only thing I did with my playlist was listen too it. Dont know how much deeper it could get than that.
