My Question or Issue
My most-used genre filter when listening to my liked songs, K-pop, went missing recently.
It is my understanding that you can have up to 15 genre filters, and I'm worried that software is now attempting to split my liked playlist into more specific pop genres than just K-pop. However, this is leading to undesirable results.
Reinstalling the mobile app did not help. Thanks!
Hey there @supersizedsumo,
Thanks for reaching out on the Community!
The available genre filters may change from time to time, as it's part of the current app features and updates. This means that you might see new or other genres being displayed when reopening the app on a later occasion. We're constantly working on improving the app, however, so we appreciate you sharing your thoughts about the filters with us.
We're just a post away if there's anything else.
Cheers!

My Question or Issue
The BLUES genre disappeared from my Liked Songs even though I have 100s of Blues songs in my Library. How do I get the BLUES genre to show again?
Why would removing my favorite most played filter be a "feature?"
It's since been replaced with the "Spooky" genre, surely to leverage allllllll the Halloween music I definitely don't have in my library...
I only have rock and chill available I'm very sad I don't have any others on the screen
Seems like I'm not the only one who has this problem. Add a "feature" to be able to add your basket genres to the top and make it ultra personal. Hire me and I'll get the job done
Definitely disappointed to open Spotify today and not see my J-pop or K-pop genre options there anymore when I have so many of those songs... Like I only have a handful of Latin songs so why is that there for me when it's not pertinent?

My Question or Issue
Hi all,
On mobile it seems that recently the majority of the genre filters have disappeared; only 6 appear. On desktop the other 9 are there. Any clue why?

My Question or Issue
I have a large selection of Afrobeats in my liked music and there used to be a genre selection for Afrobeats which was amazing but I realized today it is now gone. Is it possible to get it back? It seems my genres have been re-categorized and now Afrobeats are mixed in with all Beats? I would much rather just be able to jam to Afrobeats, not have to search through and filter other music genres out. I see Afrobeats is still a category on Spotify so why get rid of the genre under liked music?
For a while now the only filter I've had has been Emotional songs. Nothing I've tried has worked, and filters was how I listened to most of my songs as it's quite eclectic. And most of the songs that are under the Emotional filter don't fit that genre at all!
