New Releases from Artists I follow 2023

Where are the new releases listed from Artists I follow?  My Home Page Feed is now flooded with recommendations from artists I have no interest in listening to and I can't find new releases from artists I do listen to.

The new releases you're looking for can be found under the 'What's New' section!
 

On desktop, it can be found in the top right corner (the bell icon). On mobile, it's hidden in the menu that opens when you select your profile picture 🙂

On mac, there is no What's New button in the top right corner.

This still doesnt fix that, on the Home screen, some users receive recommendations of artists they don't like. And the "new releases" section is full of things I don't want to show up on my Spotify.

SO TRUE! I’ve stopped even looking at the main page it’s so convoluted with artists I have ZERO INTEREST in listening to that I just go to my ‘What’s New’ tab or just search for what I’m looking for.  It’s annoying but the platform is no longer conducive to how I want to listen.  I wish it gave you OPTIONS to turn that stuff off - the stupid DJ and the recommendations. I’m not interested in 95% of what it displays.

Any advise now that Spotify changed for wrapped and you can’t click that button?

Never mind found it… just click your profile picture on the left hand side of the home screen & you can find “what’s new”

Until recently, my Spotify app (iOS, Windows 10) had a section on the home screen dedicated to "New Releases from Artists I Follow".  This was how I was able to easily and quickly find out about releases from bands and artists I like. It seems to have disappeared.  Was it removed from Spotify? There seems to be a "Release Radar" in the "Made For Me" section, but it displays as more of a playlist format that takes me away from the home screen, and over half the songs in it aren't from artists I follow, so it is definitely not good replacement if that's what was intended.

I'd like some explanation on what happened to my "New Releases from Artists I Follow" section on the home screen please.

This is very lame. I don't know why you guys went ahead with this new design, but it was way better when new releases were found without additional clicks.
