New downloads stuck on waiting to download

My Question or Issue

I have over 9k songs downloaded, I was in the process of downloading more when I noticed that all of the new songs I tried to download are stuck on waiting to download.  If I delete an old download a new one will download. From what I've read the 10k song limit is gone and I'm not even at 10k. Any help would be appreciated.

Does your phone have enough space in order to save the songs?

I have plenty of storage left and I've tried to delete and reinstall

Thanks for getting back to us.

Just to confirm, have you tried a clean reinstall of the Spotify app on your device? We recommend the steps in that guide, as they’re very thorough and make sure no damaged leftover files remain. These changes tend to solve download issues like the one you're experiencing. Give your device a quick restart as well before you open the newly installed app. 

If that doesn't do the trick, could you try downloading the songs over a different internet network and check if the issues comes up there as well? If it works with another connection, it's best to contact the service provider of the original network for more information.
