My Question or Issue

I can no longer view my top songs of the month or top artists of the month on my profile, these were the items that were available only for my viewing and i think since the new update i haven't been able to view these, they've just disappeared from my profile and i've scoured the settings and my account to figure out if i pressed a button to turn it off. I've also deleted and then redownloaded the app, signed out fully and logged back in but nothing has changed, I'm so confused my friends are still able to view these aspects on their profiles but i cannot!! what did i do?

me too!!! what's going on 😕

Hey folks,

Thanks for reaching out.

@ri003, note that the top tracks and top artists lists are only available on the desktop app. Can you please confirm you're not seeing them there?

If yes, ask a friend or a family member to log in on your device to see if they're having the same issue.

Keep us posted.

I use the desktop app and there not there for me

Previously, it was possible to view Top Songs played during a month period, through the profile tab. This has disappeared: now all users can see is playlists, followers and followed.

Hey @EvieW,

Thanks for your reply here.

Just to confirm, have you already tried what @MihailY  suggested above? If you haven't, we'd suggest asking for the account of a relative or a friend to check if you can replicate this behavior.

On another note, it's always a good idea to make sure the app is up-to-date. You can check for possible new version updates in the three dot menu that you can find on the left-top of your screen in the desktop app. There, select Help> About Spotify. If there’s a new version available, you’ll see a button “restart to install”.

Additionally, we suggest you log out and log in twice in a row onto your Spotify account. This could sound a little bit odd, but this way the system will force a resync of your account in general.

Lastly, we'd suggest you make sure the Private Session is off, so the algorithm can gather enough info about your most recent listening activity. If you are constantly using the Private Session feature, keep in mind it could take a while until the app updates your Top artists of this month section.

Keep us in the loop!

I'm obviously aware it's only avail on desktop else how would I know it's missing? Sorry but the logic behind your question is a bit lacking on that one. Otherwise, yes, everyone else I know can still see it as usual.

I tried the log out twice thing still no lists.

I do not typically listen on Private Session. Right before I noticed it was missing I turned on Private Session to listen to one song I didn't want infiltrating my stats n I left it on for 3 songs before I went back to the app and turned it off. Prior to that the last time I used Private Session was probably months ago because truly I do not use it. I've since been listening with my usual regularity and still the lists won't return.

I've tried getting other people to log in, and I've tried logging out and back in multiple times myself but it still isn't showing up. I never listen with Private Session on either. It disappeared for me today after I updated the app, so I can't update it again. I also have Premium, a MacBook, and live in Australia. I'm wondering if it's maybe something to do with the most recent update?

On the desktop app and website, my top tracks for this month do not appear, all I can see are public playlists, recently played artists, followers, and following. I don't recall having this issue before. I've closed and re-opened the app, along with uninstalling and reinstalling it, but neither have worked. What should I do to fix this issue please?

im having this exact problem, but im in england! sorry to reply to this but have you figured out a way to fix this?

same problem

Have had similar problem for nearly a week now. Done the sign out thing, both in browser and app.

I have the same problem too! and I checked with all my friends this morning as well and they are experiencing the same exact thing

Hey folks,

Thanks for your replies and for all the info shared.

In this case, we'd like to gather some additional info about this behavior. Please send us the following:

  • Make/model and exact OS you're running on the affected devices.
  • The exact Spotify version you're running on your devices.
  • Some screenshots of how you see your profile pages.

We'll need all this important info to forward it to the right team, so they can investigate further.

We'll be on the lookout!

So I am not the only one who is having this problem! This is too ludicrous for words. I use the Spotify web player, and that's the format I prefer to use. There's no justification for the 'top tracks this month' feature disappearing when it was working just fine until recently. I am using a GeoBook laptop on Windows 11, Chrome browser. But this isn't an operating system; it's a Spotify problem. I have downloaded the desktop app, and the top songs aren't showing there, either. But I only want to use Spotify on the web.

Please fix!

BEFORE and AFTER allowing recently played artists onto my profile, which is a poor substitute for the 'top played tracks'.

I only have one artist in my list even though I listen to a lot of different artists...
it even shows only one on tinder which is kind of annoying since I want to have more on my profile
