Not able to view or organize my library properly

My Question or Issue

I am not able to access my library in a proper way. With the shortcuts Shift+Alt+Number being gone, the only way to see the music in my library is via the small sidebar. This makes looking up my huge library difficult, maintaining it a total nightmare. How can I access my library in a way that makes it usable? Why is it not possible to put the library in the main window, although it is the most complex and comprehensive tool of the whole app? Why is the main area permanently filled with stuff I do not use or need, while accesing my library is now only possible in a cluttered sidebar that is usable with a maximum of maybe 10 albums? Why were the shortcuts removed, although they were the last chance to use the UI in a way that makes sense to people with a big library?
