My Question or Issue

I used to be able to sync and play local files from my computer onto my iphone however as of recently, any new songs downloaded will sync to my phone but whenever I try to play the song the small slider/current song playing bar at the bottom appears for less than a second then disappears and the song does not play.  I've synced local files from my computer to my phone a couple times maybe a week ago and those files still work both on my phone and computer. With the more recent attempts I went through the same exact process as I did in the past but nothing worked. Something else weird that happens is that if I add a random song/mp3 file that I already had on my computer (downloaded a long time ago/not recently downloaded) work fine on both devices, it seems that whenever I try to download a new mp3 file it will only work on my computer and not my phone.

Hi, thanks for asking!

No worries, here are some steps you should try.

First of all make sure to read this FAQ about local songs which will clear some doubts on why not all local songs work. Next if you are up with the FAQ then try turning them off and removing all local songs from the App. Restart the App and then import local files again, check if it is working now.

If it's still not working then try a clean install of the Spotify App, more steps in this guide for you. Keep us posted how it goes.
