My Question or Issue

I have a folder with multiple playlists. I start to play the folder on my laptop and all works fine. When I try to connect to a device the queue is emptied and only one song remains. Is this a bug or a feature ?

Hey @dram242,

Thanks for posting in the Community!

So we can get a better understanding of the situation, it'd be great if you could give us some more info:

  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far such as a clean reinstall for example?
  • Have you tried connecting to a different device and does the issue persist?
  • Does this happen when you're using the Connect feature or via Bluetooth?
  • Have you tried with another Spotify account (a friend's or a relative's)?

Hope to hear from you soon 🙂

My Question or Issue

When playing Spotify folder content, I can play it on my Mac just fine. Of course, as others have pointed out, I can not play them on my Pixel 8 Prom, at all. But more annoying than that, I can't pass the audio from a folder to a connected device (Google speakers, for example). This is the error I get when I attempt to do so.

The workaround is to play the music on the Mac, but set the BT speaker as the audio out for my computer. The only limitation being that I can't then cast to all of my entire speaker group, or send the audio to another room when I leave my office.

Is there something I'm missing or doing wrong?

Thanks,
mateo
