My Question or Issue

My spotify wasn't loading or playing music all day. I thought maybe if I upgraded to Samsung premium it would help. However I have now discovered that while all my playlists are present, there are no songs in them. They have been wiped out and this is really really distressing to me. When I tap on "My Library", the username displayed is my old username from years ago before I changed to my current one. When I tap on it, it does bring me to my current profile and playlists, but all my playlists have 0 minutes on them. I tried to use the restoration tool, but since the playlists themselves weren't deleted it won't help. If someone could please help me restore these playlists I would really really appreciate it.

Hey @imnotwhitneyhouston,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

This type of issue is usually related to damaged cache stored on your device. We'd first recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app. This is often an overlooked step, but it can be helpful to get rid of any corrupted files that might be causing issues.

If the issue persists, would you mind logging into your account on a different device to see if it makes any difference?

Lastly, in case that the issue is still persistent, include in your next response the OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running.

We'll be on the lookout.

I'm having the same issue on the same device, and I assume that I have the same OS though I don't know what it is. For me, the issue started after a system update, and is isolated to only this device. As stated in the post I'm responding too, all my playlist are visible but are cleared of all the songs I added. Additionally, music will not play on my mobile device, but I can still select songs on it when listening on another device.

Hey there @RocketJauncher,

Thanks for the post.

Have you tried the troubleshooting recommended by @OscarDC

Let us know if any of that helped.
