Spotify shuffles despite I DO NOT WANT IT TO

This has been happening to me, I have been trying to listen to my Starred playlist with song titles in ABC order on desktop, and after 10 or so songs it will randomly shuffle the queue. SO ANNOYING

Is the behaviour you have that when you listen to your playlists with shuffle turned off, after a certain number of songs the queue changes, is that correct? When this happens, does the shuffle button show as being on, or is simply the queue that gets replaced? Is it only with songs from within the playlist or outside of it too?

If the issue is more broadly that Smart Shuffle specifically is turning itself on randomly, be advised that this is a known issue that we're currently investigating. Check out this thread, try any solutions provided and provide the requested info. You can also subscribe to it to stay updated on the status of our investigation.
