My roommate used my Spotify account to play music through Alexa, not thinking about it being my account and thus affecting my Recently Played lists. I've cleared out the playlists, but they're still showing on my Home screen.
I've listened to many other playlists since then, but those two that she listened to weeks ago are the ones on the Home screen and it's driving me crazy. How do I get rid of them?

Hi there @itsallohkae,
Thanks for the info.
We've seen several reports from users who are experiencing the same as you. You can head over to this New Idea thread and add your +Vote to show your support for an option to manually clear the recently played history on Desktop.
Here you can read more on how ideas work.
As a heads-up, it's good to know that the higher the number of votes an idea gets, the more likely it is for the idea to be implemented 🙂
Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any more questions.
Hi there @itsallohkae,
Welcome to the Community!
Currently there is no option to clear the Recently Played from your Home screen.
A possible workaround would be to play other artist/albums as they will replace the ones that you currently see.
It also looks like that other users would like to have this feature in the app. Head over to the New Idea and add your +Vote to show your support. Here you can read more on how ideas work. The more likes an idea gets, the more likely it is to get implemented.
Hope you find this info useful 🙂
Unfortunately that's the problem; as I play other playlists, they're not replacing them. I'm stuck with just these two showing up, and none of my others replacing them. It's like the cache isn't updating or something.
Hey there @itsallohkae,
Thank you for your reply and confirmation.
In this case we suggest that you perform a clean reinstall of the app to make sure there's no old cache files causing this.
If that doesn't do the trick - can you let us know which version of the app you have.
Also - do you see this on one specific device or multiple devices?
We'll keep an eye out for your reply.
Cheers 🙂
Thanks for all your help with this, and I was so hoping that would work! Sadly no luck; after a clean reinstall when I go to "Recently Played" it's correct, but the Home screen still shows those two stubborn playlists that just won't leave (see attached screenshots).
I'm using the desktop app on Windows 10, version 1.1.44.538.g8057de92
It only seems to be an issue on the desktop version, my Android app shows the correct playlists on the Home screen.

Thanks Alex, I'm glad it's not just me going crazy, but obviously disappointed there isn't a quick resolution. I've voted and left a comment on the idea you linked, so hopefully Spotify is able to remedy this soon.
Appreciate the troubleshooting help!
That is exactly what is happening to me. I have listened to countless other things and the list does not refresh.
It makes zero sense that as users we can't move any listing off or on however we want in an app we're paying for.
How many users does spotify have? What is the vote threshold for them to add a feature? The fact that the only option to enact this change is through voting is awful.
Is there at least a phone number I can call to have a tech fix my feed for me?
