My Question or Issue

I have fairly wide-ranging tastes and like a lot of individual songs by artists I've never heard of.  I suspect this is why when my release radar playlist refreshes, every week it dumps ten hours worth of new music into release radar.  That's way too much and i was wondering if there was a way (preferably one that doesn't involve me trying to game the algorithm over a series of weeks and months) of limiting the number of new songs that it can contain?

Hi there @MattH1979,

Welcome to the Spotify Community!

This isn't currently possible, I'm afraid, but it sounds like an awesome idea, so feel free to submit it on our Idea Exchange board. Others can then show their support by giving it a thumbs up and sharing their feedback. More info here.

In the meantime, you can try splitting the playlist into a couple of smaller ones so that the content is more easily digestible: for example, you can use the desktop app to select a number of songs with the Shift key on your keyboard and add them to a new playlist - that way you won't lose any of the songs the next time your Release Radar updates.

Cheers 🙂
