Same device, multiple distributions: impact in device limit?

Same device, multiple distributions: impact in device limit?

I have installed several operating systems installed on the same physical device. As i want spotify on all of them, I have a separate shared space for the offline storage location. Does this still count as separate devices and will impact the device limit for offline playlists?

Hi @maidenfan123!

Yes, every time you install Spotify, the app would treat the different operating system as a new device. Currently, you can download content for offline listening on up to 5 devices.

In case the device limit is reached, you'll have to remove the downloads from one of the other devices. This can be done by clearing the app's cache and data, or by uninstalling it.

Hope this clears things up. Cheers!
