Save to library?

What does it really mean for me to save songs to my library, vs just adding them to a playlist? Thanks!

When you save a song to Your Library, it goes in your list of Liked Songs and influences the music recommendations that Spotify provides to you in Made For You playlists (as does your listening activity). You can read more about how saving songs to Your Library influences your recommendations in this support article.

Adding songs to playlists will also provide you with recommendations; however, in this case, you will see these song recommendations at the bottom of your playlist, with the option to add them to it. These recommendations vary according to the diversity of genres within your playlist, as well as its title.
