Shuffle feature algorithm needs upgrading

My Question or Issue

My Liked Songs Library contains over 4100 songs and when on shuffle mode only plays the most recent 100 or so. I’m currently going through my library to remove songs I no longer wish to hear from months and years ago and seeing songs that I haven’t heard for a long time. This shouldn’t be the case with the shuffle feature.

I’ve tried the ‘workaround’ that was suggested in another post but that shouldn’t be needed. The shuffle feature’s algorithm needs updating to accommodate larger playlists.

I have loved Spotify for the the eight years I have been a member of it and always told people to choose Spotify over Apple Music and other music streaming platforms but this single feature error is edging me towards leaving Spotify and moving to Apple Music which of course I don’t want to do.

Is there any way of fixing this promptly because I know I’m not the only person that suffers from this problem and it’s frustrating to listen to music which shouldn’t be the case.
