My Question or Issue

I just started using Spotify regularly several months ago and building playlists. I the learned about looping. I then created two super effective, short playlists to loop. One for sleep and one for waking. I then enjoyed improved sleep and waking for several weeks until one night last week I woke up and noticed some really weird and inappropriate music was playing in the middle of the night.

Now I have a new unwanted unpaid job working for Spotify for free. I tried all of the ways I'm (mis)directed to DYI it and found nothing helpful. I found instructions for setting up looping. Those options are no longer available in Spotify. I logged out and back in.

Please don't make me work anymore. I'm already sleep deprived and now...sigh... I have a new job of scrapping streaming music (other than for discovery) and rebuilding my own library so I have something reliable when I need it.

Any help...that is helpful... would be much appreciated.

I have been woken by Spotify

Thx! do you know how i reach spotify?

Hey @GwenJen,

Thanks for reaching out!

Could you tell us more about your issue? By looping, I assume you're referring to the 'Repeat' function 🙂 If this is so, could you tell us if it's turning itself off, causing other songs to play after your playlist ends, or if you're hearing song recommendations in-between your playlist tracks?
The latter might be caused by the 'Smart Shuffle' function, so make sure it's off or set to regular 'Shuffle' instead.

As for the playlist that you're setting for the time you wake up, I'm assuming you're utilizing this function and if so, we'd like to know if the error you're experiencing is the same as on your daily playlists.

Many thanks! We'll be on the lookout for your reply.
