Someone else hacked/logged into my account. Now all discovery/suggested is music I don't listen to.

They were only on there for ONE day before I found out and deleted all their saved/liked music. Why is my discover and release radar all suggestions for them now?

Is there anyway I can get MY real data/suggestions back?

Hi @djalkien, thanks for reaching out in the Community! 🎵

First, ensure you reset your password and click sign out everywhere on your account page. This removes all logged-in devices and ensures that only you have the new password.

Regarding the suggestions, if someone used your account to listen to content, the profile recommendations will be based on that. However, you can wait for some time and let the suggestions adapt to your listening activity.

Alternatively, you can contact Spotify chat support here to request that they move your account data to a new one if possible. This way, you can start fresh and let the recommendations populate again based on your preferences.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you need anything else. 🙂
