My Question or Issue

I wasn't sure where to put this since you don't really have a bug section I'm allowed to post stuff in, but this seemed like the best place for it.

While playing music from a playlist on my phone that I have not only put together myself but have also used before, I experienced an issue I never ran into before. Music started playing in between the songs on my playlist that I hadn't added. Much less that seemed extremely out of place with the theme of the music. I checked and confirmed that there was no "We Added" section on that song so it couldn't have been from that, in fact it wasn't listed in the playlist at all, but still recognized it as a song from that playlist. It also occurred before my playlist had finished playing all its assigned songs so it couldn't be the radio function. For a while it didn't bug me a ton because I was just able to skip the songs, just a mild inconvenience, but I'm not on premium and I eventually ran out of skips. This is a new problem for me and I have been using Spotify for years. It is incredibly annoying, I just want to listen to the songs I'm actually interested in.

Hey @Chinchillin

Thanks for your quick reply 🙂

In this case, we'd recommend that you try logging out and then logging back in twice. We know this sounds odd, but it's how the app forces a cache refresh.

If the issue persists after this, would you mind performing a clean reinstall following these specific steps? This process is more thorough than the usual one.

Let us know how it goes.

Hi there @Chinchillin,

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

Just to confirm, is this happening with only one playlist or with all the playlists you created?

Additionally, does this issue persist across devices or only on your phone?

Lastly, does this happen over Connect or when you're listening to music locally on the device, or both?

Keep us in the loop.

I only seem to be having this issue with one playlist, but am currently playing it on another device and haven't run into any other issues with it yet. It did happen both while I was connected to another device via BlueTooth and while just playing it from my phone though.
