Songs not loading in “add to playlist tab”

Any time I click on the add to playlist button and I want to search a specific song or artist it keeps telling me to refresh and nothing ever loads.

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

We'd like to add some insights. Keep in mind that the search bar that you can find in the Add to other playlist option is meant for you to search other playlists created by you, so you can add tracks to those easily. It's expected not to find artists or songs per se there. You cannot search for a playlist you cannot edit.

In that sense, we'd suggest you perform a clean reinstall of the app, as the feature should not remain loading if you're looking for specific artists/tracks. By doing that, the app can be up-to-date, and you can make sure the cache is not leading to this behavior

If the above doesn't do the trick, we'd like to gather some additional info. Please send us:

• The make/model and OS of the affected device.
• The exact Spotify version you're running there.
• If you look for playlists made by you there, does the same happen?
