My Question or Issue

When I play Spotify on my Samsung TV and when there are 10 secs left on the song, the song pauses for about 3-4 secs and then resumes playing normally and will afterwards jump into the next song in the playlist.

Does anyone know how to remove this "pause" ten seconds before the songs finishes? I have updated the TV's software, reinstalled the Spotify app, and cleared cache and data to no avail.

Thanks for posting in the Community.

 

We'd like to know more on the issue you're experiencing:

 

  • Are you using a different device to control the playback on the TV via Connect? If not, does the issue occur when you're using only the TV app without connect?
  • Have you tried reproducing this experience with another account on a different network, e.g. a hot spot from your phone?
  • Do you mind recording a short video of the experience with the entire TV screen visible? You can also upload it to YouTube, if's too large to post here.
