My Question or Issue

As the title suggests, I am the creator of a playlist with 10+ contributors, is there a way to sort the playlist by contributors? So that all contributors’ songs are grouped together, for example, all the songs I’ve added are first, then friend 1’s additions, friend 2’s additions and so on.

Hey there, welcome to the Spotify Community!

You can sort your items using the "added by" filter on the desktop app. Just head over to your playlist and tap the "added by" filter. You can see in the screenshot that it is between the Album and Date added filters.

As of now, this is only possible on the desktop app. If you are interested in submitting an idea about this, feel free to do so on the Ideas board.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Hey @emmavanoosterhout

Unfortunately there is currently no way to do this in the mobile app.

However, in the desktop app, you are able to sort by "Added by" in the sort menu, and it does exactly what you're looking for which is to group the added songs by who added them to the collaborative playlist. When you sort by "Added by" the contributors are sorted based on their names in alphabetical order starting from A and going to Z. You can also sort in the reverse alphabetical order.
