Spotify India. Why are many explicit albums removed ?

My Question or Issue

Many explicit Eminem albums are available and at the sametime 8mile soundtrack is clean and explicit version is greyed out.

Another example would be SchoolboyQ Blank Face which is only available in Clean version.

And at the sametime, many explicit albums from diffrent artists are present.

Biggie is completely greyed out. 😞

What I am saying is .. the 8 mile soundtrack is available. But not the explicit version.

The Blank Face album is available but again, not the explicit version.

This is not a case of music rights and country availability.

Check to see if you have allowed Explicit content to be played.

If it is on then it's what @Billy-J mentioned earlier, the artist might have just removed that version of their album for that region.

Hi @srxmain,

Clean and explicit versions of an album are two separate releases. If it was up to us we'd have all the worlds music available on Spotify. But sometimes we still haven't been able to make an agreement which prevents us from having all music available. It's possible that the music you are looking for will be available on Spotify soon.
