Spotify Playlist Shuffle is extremely poor, but I found an external temporary solution

Spotify Playlist Shuffle is extremely poor, but I found an external temporary solution

Everyone knows by now the state of Spotify's 'shuffle' and how it doesn't actually shuffle an entire playlist. When I discovered that was happening, I found this service that does everything right about shuffling. It provides different algorithms for people to choose from (which is great for power users), it actually randomises playlists and doesn't try to be fancy by only shuffling songs of a similar genre. I think the spotify devs should take note, and allow people to decide whether or not they want to use the fancy algorithm or if they just want their playlist to be mixed up completely.

One thing to note is that the randomiser service I found also works on local files, unlike the usual randomiser service recommendation.

Why are we in a world where randomising the positions in a music playlist isn't considered an essential feature by the developers?
