My Question or Issue

I spent a few days transfering all my albums in my Album section into individual playlists because I am OCD about how my collection looks. I did some more tinkering with my playlists and jam packed three playlists full (10,000 x 3 = 30,000) and named them "radio music 1 - 10,000 songs" , "radio music 2 - 10,000 songs" and "radio 3 - 10,000 songs" because most of what i particularly listen to is metal, rap and EDM but there was so many good playlists with rock/alt/indie so i made those.

i was having some issues with the playlist name not changing, ie. i kept typing radio music 2 - 10,000 songs and it kept going back to ALT/ROCK 2000 >.

finally did a clean reinstall on phone and pc and guess what? my playlists are EMPTY. and they aren't showing up in my Recover Playlists section of my online account management.

Hey there @and7

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

Keep in mind that having large playlists can have an impact on the app's performance. To avoid this, we suggest splitting your large playlist into smaller playlists to ensure an optimal performance.

On another note, since you mentioned that some of your playlists have disappeared, we'd recommend following these steps to secure your account.

Lastly, we suggest that you reach out directly to our Support team through any of these channels so they can take a closer look at your account and help you checking what could have happened.

If you need a hand with anything else, the Community is here for you.

So... I have nearly 10k likes on Spotify. I'm very much an audiophile... I get really annoyed when I know I've liked songs on certain albums and they seemingly disappear from the artist pages... but if I search it in my liked playlist album, the song appears 2, 3, 4, and 5 times. Its definitely a programing flaw, and it also makes the Like count inaccurate. It like any time Spotify makes changes, its never a user-friendly improvement. It's usually a feature that further complicates an already existing function that likely wasnt working properly to begin with. I propose that Spotify puts a pause on further improvements, backtracks a bit and gets rid of features like "jam sessions" and works on improving the features that people like.

Now, so Spotify's staff can't create space and time for them to gather their intelligence to answer my question, I operate Spotify on an iPhone 13 Pro and it is using Version 8.8.96.395
