Hi there @acidelicts!

Double-clicking on a playlist will starts the playback, it doesn't take you to the currently playing song. To jump to its position in the playlist, click on the song's album cover either in the bottom left corner or in the Now Playing View.

If that takes you to the top of the playlist instead, you most likely have Smart Shuffle/Enhance toggled on, so disable it and that should do the trick.

There's also this idea about being able to jump to the currently playing song's position in the playlist with Smart Shuffle toggled on, which you may find interesting, so feel free to check it out, if you haven't already.

Hope this clears things up. Cheers!

My Question or Issue

I cant jump to the current song. My liked songs playlist is 1800 songs long. It just goes to the beginning of the playlist. Others are working just fine...

I guess "liked songs" isnt a typical playlist and the functionality wasnt checked - or its too long and spotify stops working here...

Thanks mod - this Topic doesnt relate to my Problem....

Hey @zuteua,

Thanks for following up! And apologies for any confusion here.

Just to clarify and to add a few more details, the option to go to the track currently playing in Liked Songs is only available on desktop, not on the mobile app. Pressing the playlist title (in this case Liked Songs) in the Now Playing View will take you to the track's location. If it leads to the top of the list while using the desktop app, however, it's possible that Smart Shuffle is switched on, as mentioned earlier in the thread.

We understand that going to the track that's playing in Liked Songs would be useful on mobile as well in your case, so we suggest creating an Idea about it. This way other users can vote for it too and show their support. You can read more on how ideas work on this page.

Hope this clears things up! We're here if you need anything else.
