Why does my queue not keep playing my liked songs in order?

Why does my queue not keep playing my liked songs in order?

I have my liked songs currently filtered by artist a-z. I turned off shuffle because I felt I was just listening to the same 30 songs over and over. I listen to them in order for awhile and if I close the app on my pc or phone or switch between the two the app then takes it upon itself to randomize the queue. I JUST WANT TO LISTEN TO MY LIKED SONGS IN THE ORDER I WANT!! And continue to do so until I choose to make it random again. I don't think that's too much to ask, for a premium service. Seems pretty basic to me actually.
I've taken steps to try and fix this on my own. I've uninstalled the app, cleared the cache and turned off autoplay options on both devices.

Hi @HugeEuge20,

Thanks for posting this thread!

So we can get a better understanding of the situation, it'd be great if you could send over some details, such as:

  • Does this happen in your Liked Songs playlist or when you've added songs to listen to in the queue?
  • Does the shuffle function enable itself on its own?
  • Is shuffle off, but the app automatically sorts the songs in your Liked Songs by a different option?

It would be very helpful if you could even send us a screen recording showing exactly what's happening from your end so we can see what we can suggest next. You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert Video option in the post editor. If the attachment is too big - we'd suggest that you upload it to Google Drive and share the link with us (make sure the video has the permissions for anyone to see it) or upload it as unlisted YouTube video(s).

We'll be on the lookout 🙂
