The name under saved albums is my own. How can I switch so the name of the artist is under the album title? Thanks, David

That's odd. My first suggestion is that you log out and then back in, to see if it helps.

Also, does it happen when you use other devices?

Thanks @Bittencourt, logging out and back in doesn't help and, yes, it reads that way on my MacBook Pro and my iPhone.

I appreciate your help! I just made a discovery: an album has the artist's name when it's in my general library - it's only when I put it in a folder that the artist's name is dropped.

Yes, please - how can I get the artist name to appear with their album when in a folder? Surely that's doable???

That's because you can only add playlists to folders. Not albums.

So, if you add an album to a folder, Spotify automatically creates a playlist for it (with your name on it, just like any other playlist you create).

I get it, thank you so much for your help. I think that's an oversight - I want to group my saved albums in genre-specific folders without the artist's name being stripped from them.
