My Question or Issue

Hello,

my liked songs was set to play according to alphabet and today I notice that after last app update the songs are playing according to day I add them... does anybody knows how to fix this or it is another new awsome feature from Spotify? Thank You

Hi! You can change it back to alphabetical order through the desktop or mobile app.

Mobile and Tablet: Sort Playlists, Artists, and Albums in Your Library

1. Go to the list you’d like to sort.
2. Pull down and release to display Filters in the top-right corner. Tap it.
3. Tap your preferred sorting option.
4. Repeat these steps to reverse the order, or pick another sort option.

Sort songs in playlists

For iPhone/iPad: 

1. Go to the playlist you’d like to sort.
2. Pull down and release to display  in the top-right corner. Tap it.
   Note: To sort Liked Songs, pull down and tap Filters in the top-right corner.
3. Tap how you’d like to sort e.g. by Recently added.

For Android: 

1. Go to the playlist you’d like to sort.
2. Tap  in the top-right corner.
3. Tap Sort playlist.
   Note: In Liked Songs, tap Sort Liked Songs.
4. Tap how you’d like to sort e.g. by Recently added.

Desktop: Sort songs in playlists

Tip: This works for Liked Songs in Your Library too.

1. Click the column you want to sort by, for example:
   • Alphabetically, by TITLE, ARTIST, or ALBUM.
   • By most recently added, with .
   • By song duration, with .
     Tip: Adjust the app's screen size to reveal more columns.
2. Click the column again to reverse the order, click it again to return to the original order.

If you created the playlist, you can also drag and drop songs into your preferred position. Just click and hold a song to move it up or down.
