My Question or Issue

When I am playing a playlist and I double click on another playlist in my library it only plays the first song in the new playlist then goes back to playing the old playlist.

I have a feeling I have missed a setting or something...  Is there something I can do to fix it??

Hey @martinjh99,

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

In this case, we'd like to add some insights. It's possible the first playlist you were listening to was added to the queue, so when you double-click on another of your playlists to play, it'll play just the first song, and then it continues with the queue that is left.

When you have some other playlist or songs in the queue ready to start playing, it's expected that the app plays the first song of the other playlist you select but continues with the queue after that. Once all the tracks on queue finish, you'll see the remaining tracks of any other playlist you selected while having songs on queue.

So, you'll need to locate the queue first by following the steps in this article. Then we'd recommend you check if there's something on the queue to play next; you'll see Next in queue at the top. If yes, you can clear the queue by hitting the Clear queue button. Give it a try, and let us know how it goes.

If the above doesn't do the trick, would you mind sending us the exact Spotify version you're running on your computer?

Keep us in the loop!

Thanks - It seems to be working again now without me having to do anything... 🙂
