"Song already in playlist" that isn't

My Question or Issue
There is a particular song that came on in one of my public playlist's enhanced shuffle which, whenever I attempt to add it to that playlist properly, alerts me that the "song is already in your playlist"—However, I have both cleanly installed my Spotify on each of my devices as well as checked this playlist from my partner's account to find that this track never shows up anywhere on the playlist for either of us, neither in the list nor through search. I don't want to potentially double-add a track to this playlist in which one of it's listeners somewhere may see it as duplicated, but I also don't understand what's happening well enough to know if that's a realistic concern.

Hey there, thanks for asking in the Community!

Can you try turning on the show unavailable songs option in settings? Once that is on, try searching for the song again. You can also try searching for it using the desktop app.

If you are still unable to find it in the playlist, please share your device and app version along with a screen recording of the issue if possible. This will help me take a closer look.

A more brute-force approach would be to add all songs from that playlist to a new playlist. Then add the single track to the main playlist. After this, you can add the new playlist back to the original one and this time select skip duplicates.

This will add the song that is causing this issue first and then skip it when you add all the other tracks again.

Keep me posted.
