spotify folders and playlists all out of order after moving playlists

Mac early 2020

since updating to the latest update when I moved a folder all my folder and playlist orders got messed up and some I couldn't find. I can search for the folders and by right-clicking move them but then that also makes every other playlist and folder current location move again. My phone and web player have the correct folder and playlist locations but not on desktop. I need to know why it is that way.

Thanks for reaching out. We'll gladly help you get everything in the correct order again.

Since you mentioned that the web player and other devices have the correct order still, it seems most likely that something has gotten corrupted with the data on the Mac app. Consider performing a full clean reinstall to repair any damaged cache and force the app to resync with the servers. This should get you the same order across all devices.
