When I open my Spotify App, there is an artist that I've never heard of or listened to in my 4 most played playlists at the top. He's been there for months and I can't get rid of him. I have blocked his songs but that doesn't make him disappear and I'm sick of seeing this guy everytime I open my app. I hope there's a solution for this issue.

Thank you for posting in the Community!
In case you haven't done so already, could you open Spotify on your mobile device, try the following steps and let us know how it goes?
 

1. Open the artist page for the artist you want to block.
2. Tap the three dots icon located beneath the artist's cover image.
3. Tap Don't play this.

In case this doesn't do the trick, please send us a screenshot as well and we'll investigate further 🙂

Apologies for the misleading info, folks!
Turns out banning the artist will only remove the content from your 'Followed artists' tab. The only way to replace your most played artists for now is to listen to different types of content that you like.
Taking a look at these two Ideas might be worth your time though:

• 'Not interested' button
• Customize Start Screen
