why do i have to keep refreshing the spotify app every time i want to listen to a different song

i currently listen on my school Chromebook but every single time i want to listen to a different song i have to refresh to whole app in order to listen to the song i want to how do i fix this?

Do you have the possibility to run a quick reinstall of the app on your Chromebook? Try this as a first step as it helps with most common issues.  

If this doesn't do the trick you might need to perform a clean (more thorough) reinstall of the Spotify app. This way you start afresh with Spotify on your Chromebook. Check out this help page in order to find the steps for clean reinstall on the affected device.

on the post it says to also clear the data from your history from your computer on spotify but i can't do that due to the computer i use being a school issued Chromebook and can't wipe my browsing history because it is blocked by the administration who issued certain settings on my computer
