2 issues: Stops playing + plays without sound

I have two issues. The first is that when I play Spotify from my phone on (via?) AUX to speakers, the sound disappears now and then. It's never mid-song, always when a new song plays. The song keeps playing, but there's just no sound. It doesn't seem like it has something to do with the songs themselves, it varies all the time which song it is and happens in the middle of a playlist. If I click back and start the song over manually it plays like normal. I've had this problem for months, and it's only when playing like this, never with headphones on or on my laptop.

The second issue is one I've had just for the last few days when playing on my phone with headphones - when I exit the Spotify app or put the phone to sleep, the music stops. It'll only play if the phone is "awake" and in the Spotify app.

Any suggestions? 🙂

Thanks for your post and welcome to the community.

In regards to your first trouble, do you have the same trouble using other speakers or headphones? Also, which speakers are you having this trouble with and do these speakers have the same troubles with any other apps/devices?
