Ad glitches interrupting playlists

So I don't know if this is all devices, or just iOS. But the ads are troublesome. I wonder why it is that Spotify ads always disrupt the pleasure of listening to music, but they do for me on every device. Recently, ads on my iOS device experience a new glitch with the following error message:

Please try reloading the video.

OK | Reload

Subsequently, whichever playlist I had on is immediately interrupted and some other nonsense starts playing. This is exhausting to have to constantly monitor while I want background music during work. I get less work done, and might as well use youtube or some other app. So how do we fix this glitch?

That is so weird! Can you try following these steps here on reinstalling Spotify. Also is this a bug that has happened more than once?
