Album artworks don’t fade correctly when scrolling fast

My Question or Issue

If you select an album and scroll down so the album art disappears then scroll up fast it won’t be 100% transparent, only like 70%. This doesn’t happen if you slowly scroll.

Just wanted to confirm that we've let the right team know about this, and they'll be looking into it.

 

As @Loxer mentioned, we can't provide a timeframe for a fix, but we recommend that you keep your app updated.

You don’t need to scroll super fast like I did, just fast.

Seems to skip the transition partially.

Only for albums as playlists don’t transition.

iPhone 7, iOS 12.1.2, 8.5.19.947 (latest)

It isn’t really version specific or anything, should happen on all devices.

I've let the right folks at Spotify know about this.

 

I asked about those specifics because it would help them with fixing it 🙂

 

I'd also recommend updating to iOS 12.4.1 as it is the latest version of iOS available.
