All songs saved to my iPhone are suddenly gone

Solved!

All songs saved to my iPhone are suddenly gone

Hi Spotify,

I use an iPhone 6 with iOS 8.1.2 and I have Spotify version 2.2.0.2464 installed (Premium user).

A few hours ago I was listening to some of the songs that I had saved locally on my iPhone. The entire list of songs (Your music > Songs) was downloaded locally by selecting the button to make the entire list available offline. I minimized the app by pressing the home button. A while later I opened the app again and navigated to my library of songs, but they were all gone. I have not removed any of the songs from my library or changed any setting. How can this happen and how can I get my entire library back? It has taken me a lot of time to create the library and I do not have a back up list somewhere so it will be hard to find them all again.

The strange thing is that on another device of mine the library of songs is still there. Normally when I would add a song to my library on device A it will also appear in the library of device B. The same goes when I remove a song. Therefore I do not understand why it is not also removed on my other device, if for some reason the library is gone on one of the devices?

Any help appreciated.

Kind regards,

Nick

First, try to log out of the app, and then log back in.

If you still don't see your songs, try reinstalling the app.

If you then continue to have trouble,

I suggest you contact support so they can take a look at your account and see what is going on:

If you get an automated reply email, you need to reply back to it.

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

Hm!

Restarting my phone did not work, logging out of the app and logging in again did not work either. Deleting the app from my phone and re-installing it did work.

Thanks.

You're welcome!

Deleting and reinstalling the app from my iPhone fixed the problem.
