App skipping song/jumping a minute in when selecting speaker

My Question or Issue

When playing music and then sending it to a speaker (in this case, my Windows PC running Spotify), the iOS app will skip the song or move forward a minute or so. This has been happening for the last few weeks. It’s terribly annoying - any known ways to fix this?
