Audio Quality doesnt change using airplay

My Question or Issue

I am on Premium Family plan, and my audio quality is set to very high. 
When I airplay to my wiim mini, the bitrate seems stuck to 16bit/44.1khz . Why is that? 
 My audio system is capable for 24bit/192khz resolution.

At the moment, all content on Spotify is configured to 44.1 kHz / 16 bit. Looks like your Wiim Mini supports bit-perfect playback, meaning it automatically matches the sample rate to what's being played. This is actually great, as the device doesn't have to resample the content before it comes out through your speakers/headphones.
