Battery drain new update 8.4.53.689

Getting severe battery drain after updating on iPhone SE. Music playing for 10 minutes dropped percent by 10%. Previous version did not have this issue.

Yep, same problem on iPhone X, updated on the 17th and now running this app the phone gets noticably warm and drains the battery by about 20%/hour with the display off.

Same, even having it in the background makes it warm.

same here...  and it's only being used to control a "spotify connect" device.  Spotify uses 50% of battery life.

Still has not been resolved after a month. It seems the app is commanding a large amount of CPU resources. Hopefully an update is pushed out soon.
