Black interface in Apple CarPlay

Many times when I connect my iPhone via USB to my car and try to open Spotify via Apple CarPlay, I'm getting a black screen with no controls on it.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

I also noticed you're on a Beta software, iOS 12.2, which is yet an unreleased version of iOS. I'd recommend downgrading to iOS 12.1.4 and see if that helps 🙂

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?
