Bluetooth plug in receiver automatically reshuffles any playlist whenever connected

Spotify is version 9.0.28.

My Question or Issue

As of a Spotify update within the past two weeks, one before the most current update of 9.0.28, every time I connect to a plug bluetooth receiver with my playlist on shuffle the entire playlist reshuffles. Notably this does not occur when connecting to other devices, including AirPods and a bluetooth speaker. The plug in bluetooth receiver itself has no shuffle button. As shown in the videos, the queue changes from "Playing Playlist" to "Playing Playlist on iPhone" when this occurs. 

I have attached two videos. In the first longer one, I show that my phone is connected to the bluetooth plug, turn off bluetooth (which has no effect), then reconnect to bluetooth, at which point the playlist reshuffles. In the second video I have the queue displayed and I turn on my bluetooth plug, at which point the phone connects and the playlist reshuffles.

This did not occur prior to the spotify update. In the update my queue was also changed to the new version, which seems to have caused the issue. When my queue had the old format this issue did not occur. No changes to my audio setup have occurred, as my plug bluetooth receiver is incapable of updating. I believe the change to my queue is tied to this issue (and, I might add, an annoyance in its own right as one can no longer select multiple songs to delete from queue)

I have already updated my spotify to the most recent version, which did not fix my issue. I also cleared my cache, which did not fix my issue. Finally I tried a clean install and powered off my device, which did not fix my issue. This is a great annoyance to me and while I understand this forum's moderators are limited in their resolution options the issue is such that if it is not promptly fixed I will be cancelling my subscription. Thank you for your time.
