Cable to connect iPhone 5s to DAC for using Spotify on home system?

My problem is that I want to connect my iPhone to my DAC and play Spotify through that device rather than using my Macbook.

I can find no cable that has a male lightning termination at the Macbook end and a printer termination (the type of USB cable all DAC's use) at the DAC end.

Does anyone know if such exists?

My second concern is that assuming the cable exists will it deliver the "correct" digital data stream to the DAC?  

I ask because I did think of a work around if no cable exists: lightning cable at Mac to standard USB male termination; female standard USB connects and terminates with a male printer USB at the DAC.  That is a lot of messy connections but is it possible?

By lightning you mean the iPhone cable or the Thunderbolt connector from Macbooks?

Hey @pingufreddy I think its quite complicated, probably you need to provide some pictures or diagram of your setup.

I mean the cable that you know use to charge you phone from the wall wart.  It has a little end and a USB end.  It replaced the much larger cable that did the same thing.

Just google "lightning to USB cable" and you will find some. They exist, but apple doesn't like you using anything they don't make, even file formats.
