Can't play songs on IPhone 7 (IOS)

Can't play songs on IPhone 7 (IOS)

Hi guys,

Spotify premium was working yesterday on my iPhone and today it won't play songs. If I press shuffle play it will, however I can't actually select a song to play.

The app is saying my subscription is free but when I log in I am premium and have been paying monthly.

I have re started my phone and deleted and re installed the app but still having the same issue. We signed in on my phone under a different account and that worked but mine is having issues.

Any help would be appreciated?

Hey @AaronW92, help's here! 

 

Could you let us know:

 

  • Your exact device
  • The version of iOS
  • The version of Spotify

It sounds like you might have a free account as well as a Premium account. Can you confirm that you're definitely logging into a Premium account? It'd be useful to know if you have a username and password or if you click 'Log In With Facebook'.

 

If you have a screesnhot of how it looks when you go to select a random song, that'd be good to see. Is there any error messages? Are any tracks greyed out?

I recently upgrade from iPhone 6 to 7 and my spotify account is gone.  All my music and playlists are deleted, it's as if I am a new user.  I can access my account on the computer, so it recognizes my login.  When I login on the new phone after redownloading the app it will not let me use premium services.  My account has been completely changed.
