Cannot SYNC local track to iphone HELP !!

Hi,
I am really having trouble importing songs that are not found on spotify for the iphone app. So I dragged the file into the desktop version and it plays great . Cool now i want to get this track on my iphone.

So I click on the song it says not currently available sync it to my iphone. Connect to network which i am , launch it any then mark it for sync. I dont get it because I make a playlist and the song shows up but it can be played on my desktop and I mark it for offline mode and it still wont work. I have the song on my iphone too can anyone please help with this ??

Hello there,

The sort of screen you should be seeing when syncing local files from your computer to your iPhone should look a bit like it does below.

To get here, you'll need to ensure that you are logging into Spotify on your your computer and your phone (Which is called "Doug" here). Under devices, the name of your phone will appear (Hi Doug!). Click on that, and you should get what is shown in the main window here, with all your playlists. Select "Manually choose playlists to sync", and you can then select which playlists with local files to sync.

i checked the box under local files but it only says "pending" and nothing is happening

You need to put local files in playlists. The local files box only works on some ipods. The full instructions are here.
