Canvas videos are not playing while being activated in the latest app

Hello. iPhone 12 Pro.
Latest iOS version available - 16.5
App version - 8.8.43.436
Canvas option is available and enabled in Playback
Data saver options are off
Spotify Premium subscription

I used to have Canvas before, that's why I'm very concerned that I don't have that anymore. Tried reinstalling, clearing cache, etc

Thanks for the post.

it's possible that Canvas is not supported in your country due to licensing issues. Can you let us know what's the current country set on your Spotify account, and we'll check if the Canvas content is available there.

Hey Alex, I have the same problem as OP. 

Device: iPhone 13 Pro Max

Latest iOS version available - 16.5
App version - 8.8.44.458

Country - Cambodia

For context, the Canvas option only became available on my device with the latest iOS update and the current app version. But even when toggled, it doesn't appear.

Cambodia is currently in the list of not supported countries 🙂
Don't lose hope though, we cannot confirm when or if the feature will be functional in your region, but I'd keep my fingers crossed & my app up to date in the meantime!
