Deleting downloaded tracks doesn't free up space

Deleting downloaded tracks doesn't free up space

When I delete downloaded tracks in Spotify for iOS, the tracks seem to be deleted from the app, but they don't free up any space in my phone. The only eay to actuallye free up the space seems to be deleting the entire app.

This shouldn't have to be the case. Deleting the tracks on the app should immediately free up space on my phone. Deleting and reinstalling is a pain in the neck, making me lose all my already downloaded tracks.

is this the right place to post this? Or ahould I post this in a different part of the forum?

Please try reinstalling Spotify. For step-by-step instructions, you can check out this FAQ page.

Thanks but, like I said, I know of that option. I just think this shouldn't be necessary. Spotify is the #1 streaming platform in the world. It shouldn't be too much to ask for, to ask that when we delete a song, it frees up space in the phone's storage.

It's a pretty fundamental function.

Sorry to hear that. You may suggest your idea here.
